When I started this journey I didn't feel very sure I could do it. As with many things in life, it takes courage to start, faith, and pure bullheadedness to forge ahead. Lots of times when you start a project there are people that will tell you, why are you, or you can't do this. Well, they would be right if I didn't try. I would spend the rest of my life wondering if I could have, or why didn't I try. It is a wonderful adventure. I'm glad I am trying. Sometimes there is personal victory even when you fail at what you are trying to do. You learn lessons and find the courage to try different things. There is victory in this.
I have spent years with stories in my head. I felt now was the time to let them out. Hearing from you my readers and sharing friendship is a wonderful part of this experience. This is a two-way street. Tell me your thoughts, and I will respond. I look at this place as a community. People sharing their thoughts and experiences.
This is the beginning of the journey. Not sure where this road will take me. Things are always better when shared. So as soon as I can figure out how to make a Blog I will. It does not have to be about writing, it can also be good receipts. A great color combination for walls, quilts, and a weaving project. Kids and the things they do, or not do. Pets, gardening whatever you like. I only ask that this remain a nonpolitical, nonjudgmental place. We all come from different walks of life. This is America. We are called the melting pot of the world. We all have differences this can make life interesting and add new colors in our lives.
